Room 212 Equipment Guide
Audio-Visual Equipment:

Ceiling Microphone: Captures audio from all participants in the room.

Speakers: Provides clear audio output for presentations and video conferences.

Display: Large screen for viewing presentations, videos, and other visual content.

Front Camera: High-definition camera for video conferencing and recording.

Touch Panel: Controls the room's AV equipment and settings.

Wireless Mouse and Keyboard: This is for easy navigation and control of the connected computer.
BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) Connection:

HDMI Cable: Connects your laptop to the display for video output.

USB Cable: Connects your Laptop to the ceiling microphone, speakers, and front or rear camera for audio and video input/output.

USB Port: Available for additional USB devices or peripherals.

Starting the System
To start the classroom system:
Press Anywhere to activate the System

Using the Classroom Interface
Connect to Your Device
Laptop:
- Plug the HDMI cable into your laptop directly or use the provided USB-C adaptor.
- To use the camera, microphone, and speaker via your laptop, connect the USB cable located on the same plate as the HDMI cable.

Desktop:
- Use the in-room PC.
- Sign in with your PennKey credentials.
- A wireless keyboard and mouse are provided.

Laptop:
- Connect your laptop using the HDMI cable or the provided USB-C adaptor.
- To use the camera, microphone, and speaker, connect the USB cable located on the same plate as the HDMI cable.

Wireless Video:
- Connect an external device (like a laptop or smartphone) wirelessly via Solstice.
- Follow the on-screen instructions after selecting this source.
Other Control

Volume Controls: Located on the left-hand side. Push up or down to control the system audio.

Mute Button: Located below the volume control.

Power Button: Located below the mute button.
Adjusting the Camera
To adjust the room cameras, follow these steps:

Select Camera:
- Press the Camera Icon on the touch panel.
- A preview of the selected camera (front or rear) will be displayed.

Camera Selection:
- Use the buttons to choose between the Front Camera (static) and the Rear Camera (adjustable).

Camera Controls:

Magnification Controls: Adjust the zoom level as needed.

Directional Controls: Use the touch controls to move the camera up, down, left, or right.

Setting Presets:
- Adjust the camera to your desired position.
- Press and hold the Preset Button until the position is saved.

Exit Camera Controls:
- Press the Home Button to exit the camera controls.
Audio Controls

Volume Controls: Located on the left-hand side. Push up or down to control the system audio.

Mute Button: Located below the volume control.
